16th Annual Island Lake Bass Fishing Derby

Location: Island Lake Conservation Area, 673067 Hurontario St. Orangeville, Ontario

Two day catch & release derby hosted by the Friends of Island Lake as a fundraiser for Island Lake Conservation Area. More than $7500 in Cash Prizes!

The Derby will take place on Saturday, July 11 from 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. and Sunday, July 12 from 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. One day or two day tickets are available. Park and boat launch open at 5:30 a.m. The Rental Shop, bait, tackle and rentals open at 6:00 a.m. each day,

Pricing:

Two categories:

Regular (age 13+)

Youth (age 15 and under)

Prizes:

REGULAR (age 13+): Prizes will be awarded to the registered participant catching the fish that has the highest combined score that includes weight (in grams) and length (in millimetres)

1st place Bass: $5000 cash

2nd place Bass: $1500 cash

3rd place Bass $1000

YOUTH (15 and under): Daily plaques for first place: Largemouth/ Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike, Yellow Perch, Black Crappie, Pumpkinseed and Rock Bass.

Island Lake Bass Derby Raffle

• Raffle prizes include a wide-selection of gift certificates, prize packages and individual items, each with a minimum value of $50.00 per prize. With over 30 prizes available, you don’t want to miss out!.
• Tickets are $5.00 each, or $20.00 for 5.
• Online ticket purchases are available until Friday, July 10 at 12:00 PM.
• In-person ticket purchases can be made at the Island Lake Rental Shop. In-person tickets are available until Sunday, July 12 at 3:00 PM.
• The raffle draw will be held at Island Lake CA on Sunday, July 12 at 3:30 PM. You do not need to attend the draw in-person to win. CVC staff will contact raffle winners on Monday, July 13 by phone call.
• Prizes MUST BE picked up from Island Lake CA by the winners.
• Winners may claim their prize starting Monday, July 12 until Monday, July 27th.
